Sh-t the Dog

“I loved Sh-t, but she was quite wearing. I used to think wistfully that other dogs got dognapped or hit by cars. . . . Then one day, Sh-t did get hit by a car, but she didn’t die: it just cost me $700 to get her leg fixed. She gimped around thereafter on this bionic leg, becoming more Sh-t-like by the year. The dog was a catalyst for trouble, disruption, uproar, consternation, confusion and bedlam.”
